BREITKREUZ BILL TO SCRAP THE USELESS LONG-GUN REGISTRY

Ottawa – Saskatchewan M.P. Garry Breitkreuz has introduced a Private Members’ Bill to scrap the decade-old Canadian long-gun registry.

The long-gun registry was originally budgeted to cost Canadians $2 million, but the price tag spiraled out of control to an estimated $2 billion a decade later. Breitkreuz says it’s time to pull the plug on this useless money pit, because the registry has not saved one single life since it was introduced (there's more)...

Banning guns is as stupid as making drugs illegal, you can’t stop those who are hell bent on obtaining guns or drugs.

We can create laws that are consequences for those that break the law but it does nothing to STOP someone from obtaining either.

Legalizing drugs and regulating them, taxing them, creates income for the government(which they love).

Obtaining my CCW was quite easy. I have no legal issues in my background which made for a smooth transaction. Exercising your 2nd Amendment Right is an empowerment one ought not to relinquish to government.

Your interview was great, John, as always. Your rebuttal in the second segment, backed with facts, was great! Well, all your segments were great!

Nothing eliminates emotional rhetoric like facts that dispel mythology of fantasy.

Typical emotional rhetoric comes from those who have no command of actual facts.
