"Average Citizens Can Own Gun, Say Americans"

Rasmussen Reports finds that the vast majority of Americans believe that there is a right to own guns.

Does the U.S. Constitution guarantee the right of an average citizen to own a gun?

Yes 75%

No 14%

Not sure 11%

Source: Rasmussen Reports
Methodology: Telephone interviews with 1,000 American adults, conducted on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28, 2009. Margin of error is 3.1 per cent.

Unfortunately, with Socialists and Liberals, polls don't matter unless they agree with their agenda.

Tell that to the liberal bozos at the Supreme Court. They almost made the 2nd amendment unconstitutional in Heller! Soon they will declare the Bill of Rights unconstitutional. Oh, wait, they will do that, but one amendment at a time. I digress.

The scary part is that 14% don't understand the Constitution and 11% don't care to learn one way or another.

25%, one-quarter of all Americans either don't understand the highest law in the land or don't care to learn about it.

Dear Mr. Smith. The Supreme Clowns of the United States declared the Bill of Rights inapplicable to the States in 1873, 1875, and 1883.

I admit that while some of U.S. v Cruikshank has been overturned, it wasn't enough, and still continues to haunt us to this day.

You are correct in your belief that someday, those bozos will finish the job started with the Slaughterhouse cases and U.S. v Cruikshank. There were a few other cases that addressed the limitations of the 14th Amendment, but to list those would be to repeat the bozo's earlier gutting of the Bill of Rights.

After all, incorporation has yet to be acheived...
