Bloomberg's groups claim victory in "Jack in the Box" decision on guns when nothing actually changed

With Moms Demand Action president Shannon Watts using armed security guards when she is simply walking around, there is a bit of irony with MDA pushing to ban guns in different businesses. Their latest push is for "Jack in the Box," but they are claiming victory where it isn't obvious what they have won in any practical sense.  Jack in the Box's Vice President of Corporate Communications Brian Luscomb had this comment:
“The presence of guns inside a restaurant could create an uncomfortable situation for our guests and employees and lead to unintended consequences.”
But unless the guns are banned this actually changes nothing.

Moms Demand Action crows about the Starbucks precedent in this case, but it is more of a precedent than most might think.  MDA claims: "Starbucks changed its policy of allowing guns in stores as a result of the campaign."  But again, nothing practically changed.
